You have consistently strong characterisation throughout, and their banter made me laugh
Nyo India chapter 1 . 5/12/2018
This was so hilarious .
I can see nyo Canada x India happening now.
It's so properly written and being an Indian lady I must say the personality is a spot on.

Poor India! Its ironic but I'm reading this fix while staying in Canada so I can attest to the fact that there ar many, many Sikh here and Canadians really r that nice!

Guest chapter 1 . 7/5/2016
SECOND PUNJAB. That is hilarious. And it makes way too much sense.
(In my area, there's a lot of Tamilians, Telugus, and Nepalis.)

Headcanon about needing people completely accepted. My parents go crazy over the fact that I don't have a lot of friends and spend all my time on a screen.
This is too adorable, oh my gosh. ;w;

And also Indian restaurants do tend to be pretty good. Funny about the waitress not knowing Punjabi, though - at our local Saravana Palace, all of the waiters are from India and know Tamil and Hindi pretty well.
Immortal x Snow chapter 1 . 7/4/2016
Damn straight I'm gonna have a wonderful birthday. ;)

I love your title. Just gonna start off with that.

Your title, though, is only the tip of the iceberg. Really, the first thing that struck me about this is how damn well it's written. It was just so beautiful and melodic, and it flowed well. Also, starting with "India didn't like Canada" and then the correctio of "not the personification, just the country" is gold. What a funny guy. ;) And of course India can't handle the climate ROFL. Poor thing. If you come to the US or Canada, unless you're in the American South, you cannot come in the winter. You might die. xD

I just love your headcanon about how India needs interpersonal interaction or he gets gloomy. It makes sense that India would be a people-oriented culture, and I like the way you had that play out in this fic. Poor baby. He just wants to chat with friends, but he's getting dragged all over the place. :( You really set up that layer of gloom that just clings to him. And we can see it getting worse, and we feel so bad for him, and then BOOM IN COMES CANADA THE REAL HERO OF NORTH AMERICA

But really. Your Matthew is perfect. I would know, if I write him as well as you say I do. ;) And you handle the nuances of his personality so well. It's hard to get caught up in shy/fragile/delicate little Matthew and forget that THIS MOTHERFUCKING BADASS HERE used to be part of the shock troops in WWI and II. And no, it doesn't always come out in conversations, but when it comes to arguments, Matthew will always win. Because he will not put up with your bullshit. He really will not. And he doesn't put up with India's bullshit here (gray pallor wisdom LOLLLL. Still laughing at that). I feel like he's exactly what India needs at this moment. That's so lovely.

Of course this takes place in Ottawa. I've been to Ottawa, and I can 100 percent see this taking place there. It just has this... atmosphere? that lends itself well to this fic. I don't know. I know you probably just set it in Ottawa because it's the capital of Canada, but trust me, it worked out well.

"We're all idiots." I can't. How could you have made this any funnier? It's hysterical as it is. Canada fishing for England blackmail is my life.

They just get along so beautifully. I wanted to say that again. I don't know. I just adore these two. So glad I had the presence of mind when I woke up this morning to ask for something with Mattie and India. xD

The parts with India slowly thinking of everything that's happening and how everyone expects him to fuck up were heartbreaking. I just love how Canada can read what he really means in those two words. I think this came out in my last DOI, but I'm convinced that he's only quiet to be perceptive. To listen. (Well, okay, maybe the invisibility has something to do with it, too. Anyway.)

Second Punjab. So fucking cute. I love him. I love you. I love this. You're my fav. Thank you so much.
