It's so good to read a lovely Anne/Gilbert fic, really beautiful. Been watching Canada's latest 'Anne' series and it brought back all the love I had for that original series from 1985 and reading all Maud's books subsequently after.

I really like this! So often modern stories are not well done but this certainly is :) I'll have to try my coffee like that sometime...

In this last chapter, I loved how Gil always reassured Anne over her insecurities and doubts about how long it took them to get to where they are now...

I loved how Anne thought that Gil comfortable green couch felt awfully inviting and how she didn't wanted them to move from that spot !

I love how on the road to get to Patty's place, Anne and Gil hide themselves behind the trees to kiss each other !

I loved this little Epilogue !

I am happy they are finally together. I have thoroughly enjoyed your modern twist. I am sorry I am rather late in posting my review. I have read this chapter more than three times and read your other stories. Looking back, I loved 'the cherry blossom scene', liked how you put 'Anne's umbrella' a key item, the phrase 'miracle occurred in the form of Murdy -', Anne's impulsive kiss and Gilbert being carried away (it's modern, so not improper at all), and various things. Your plot and how you portrayed were all believable. Thank you for sharing. I would like to read more of your writing. As for best friends's romances, I am a great fan of Jane Austen's Emma. Could you possibly try it? Just suggestion- Anyway, Thank you for this charming story!
