Look, I see that you're beginning a rewrite and you've outright stated that you've made a lot of mistakes in the original version, so I'll be sticking around for that.
But I waded my way through this story out of curiosity, and also because its one of the few stories I've read that has genuine military background behind it.
And then I pretty much fell outta the boat in this chapter when you wrote about using naval guns and gatling guns directly on unarmed civilian populations. The way it was written makes it look like you were intending to say that you were aiming for infrastructure/industry in cities/towns (which still is not great, but especially considering the civilization of the Elemental Nations is tolerable), so I hope you make a note to explain that one a lot more cleanly in the rewrite.
I'd also like to see you write more about that raw baseline civilization difference. I'm not saying that you need to make a character act as a caricature of a hippie, but I'd be interested in conversations, whether between Naruto, Kurama, and Sakura, or between them and the characters of Konoha, regarding concepts of the US/Earth as compared to the Shinobi nations. Like, the idea of adulthood beginning at the age of 18, rather than the very-fuzzy-in-canon but probably as soon as one reaches chunin regardless of age setup in Naruto. Would there be long-term benefits in restructuring the education system to training longer in a competitive classroom environment before releasing directly to the adult environment of the military? Can they afford to at the moment? Was there any interest/support in this idea already natively forming?
Or perhaps, and this is one of those 'funny' things that when you think about it is actually alarming: the concept of alibis. If disguises, whether chakra-aided or not, are good enough to fool the vast majority of civilians, let alone active-duty shinobi, how the heck does any justice system work?!

Haha, sea stories for the win! Never served myself, but family did and it's something crazy to see sea stories set up in this setting of all things. Yes, you're restarting it, but it's a good story all the same!

You say your fixing things but it's not broken this is an excellent fanfic don't become one of those writers that resits there fanfic and ends up ruining there work or abandons it for a new random idea. The story is fine finish it.

I'm sorry that you feel that you have to End this version of the story. Might I make a small suggestion use the opening in this version as a alternate reality/universe type setting

I have also read the one shot Tip of the Spear side stories and it broke my heart with the telling of Naruto's daughter. I could feel their happiness and then their grief from the words. You have a gift in storytelling. It reminds me of how John Ringo writes.

So glad I found this. Definitely one of the more interesting versions that I’ve read and definitely favoriting and following for more :).

I have been reading this from the beginning and this story has come so so far since then it’s really incredible. Sometimes it’s hard to believe how far it has in terms of plot and oh boy was the wait worth it! Both the length of the chapter and it’s contents make it all worth it. And while I could hush all day about the plot and listing everything I loved about this chapter I really don’t want to spoil it for anybody.

Must have more asap. Love it so far, keep it up. Can't wait to see what happens next. How long till sakua gets tamari in bed with them lol.

I was glad when I got the notification saying this story was updated. Another fantastic chapter.

I do have two quick questions though if you don't mind answering them? I don't know if i read this right but I thought the Harunos were placed in a genjutsu by Danzo and later freed from it by Itachi? And later on Naruto, Sakura and I think Mebuki's sister forgave them and welcomed them back. But during the conversation Kizashi had with Tsunade it sounded like she still helpd animosity towards them? So have they truly been forgiven and also will they learn the full story of Naruto and Sakura exile?

Last question had Shikamaru finally earn Naruto's trust again? Because the way he and Naruto was acting during after the whole love making scene everyone walked into it was like everything that happened in the Forest of Death is just know water underneath the bridge. And if Temari does end up joining will there be a romance scene with just her and Naruto or Sakura be there as well?

But keep up the good work and I am looking foward to the next chapter. And on a side note I would go back and rework A Kunochi through Time instead of scraping it.
