So these mystery Ship girls are salvaged Abyssals that never were US warships to begin with. Makes sense considering the Abyssals are fielding far more units then the combined Allied and Axis navies from WW II, in a sense they're making clones of the originals to bulk out their numbers.

Well, I would like to see the reaction of Shigure when she meets Fubuki and Akebono. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Hmmm. If I have to guess the destroyer that has gone rogue (for lack of a better word), It would either be Yukikaze or Shigure, since those two shipgirls are the first that comes into my mind.

Interestingly, USS Stanly (DD-478) was originally built with a seaplane catapult, like USS Pringle, but was refitted to Fletcher standard almost immediately. I wonder if Cole could use that factoid as counter-ammunition?
