Oh! I sense continuation of story with intriguing plot , full of dark omens gathered upon galaxy…

Yaidev on her own on the third time meet Cyrus or it’s another mission from Farseer?

That was truly journey. A great one! Thank you for vividly images I view during this journey. Waiting for continuation story of cunning Fox and “her” Raven! ;)

Even after that clash our heroes survived I can’t imagine what can stop them?

But still, it was necessary to take a casket with ointment - a very nice gesture from Yaidev.

I have a strange question - when did Cyrus found out name of Yaidev? From archives of Inquisition? I'm a little ashamed if I somehow missed this moment in this story or in From Oblivion ...

Why such cruel trial as Outcast even exist? The number of Eldar is small but nevertheless some of them are sent (expelled?) without significant preparation in an open world with dangers of warp...

Why not become Outcast after going through several (all) Eldar Paths? Desire to learn something new and as quickly as possible?

That story about fox who outsmart crow and got cheese? :)

More and more, their relationship is similar to two old friends who just teasing each other constantly. This is progress to me!

Although I can understand their mutual distrust of each other (although it is more manifested by Cyrus). I am amazed by their mutual strong faith in their people, in their worlds, in their races.

Still, a great description of the battle. Particularly vividly I imagined the demon’s body shakes of each fired bullet from Cyrus's pistol. Like in slow motion - everything is very detailed and bright!

Although they are very tough team, but they really need to heal quickly. I do not like the blood on the back of the head of Yaidev and even more I do not like wound of Cyrus!

Hell of wolves breaks loose!

It seems to be nothing, but what a dangerous and at the same time romantic moment was during the avalanche. I really liked it!

The feeling was very well conveyed when it was not clear who was talking and who was thinking at that period of time. As if their thoughts and words were intertwined in moments of remembrance of different, but such identical tragedies.

An exchange of oppressive thoughts was made. A little more trust was added to the piggy bank of... sympathy?

Tears that are not visible during rain and demon that pulls out the most severe emotions outside without the will of it's owner. A good move that beautifully explains behavior of our characters and does not make them weak.

Ah, it went without bonfire. :( But a fairly trusting dialogue was successful - at least something. Though, I did not understand many events (actually everything) from their conversation. Unfortunately, they (though rather Cyrus) barely moved in understanding of each other.

This is completely sad and not fair! After all, at home we feel the most protected and calm. Do evil thoughts, like the demons that attract them, not disappear when you returning to your home harbor?

«…Pathfinders like me must quell the darkness within ourselves…»

Eldar is such a sophisticated people and still it has a part of darkness inside them too. Again, not fair and wrong! Dirt, like darkness, can only stick and we are able to wash it off, and the presence of it in us on an ongoing basis frustrating me a lot!

If even such ancient and developed Eldars are so easily susceptible to corruption, then Chaos would have devoured mankind without choking...

This chapter is controversial for me. Since I learned about 40k, for the first time I went a little deeper into the universe and for the first time I do not agree with the fundamental worldviews of characters and even entire races. It oppresses me...

But still, this is a good chapter. You managed to show that stupid irreconcilability of two creatures identical in essence, but different in origin.

And now – dancing with the “wolves”!

«Webway» is very similar to the movement of Andromeda in the subspace in the eponymous show. Humans have psykers and they help to travel around warp. Eldar have this «Webway». What's the difference between them?

The possibility that a demon can somehow bring out knowledge from a soul sealed in a stone is awful…

«He was a veteran, perhaps not quite as old as her, but he'd seen centuries of warfare.»

I knew that the Eldar lived almost millennia, but I did not know this about longevity of space marines. I know about primarchs and all that, but even "some" Sergeant has been living and fighting for so long?

At the end of this chapter, there is miss of warm campfire that will melt cold hearts. A very cozy sensation. But it’s 40k universe ... It’s sad :(

Creepy but really "beautifully" decorated demon.

The moment with treatment is transmitted perfectly! Runes needed to focus energy ... Cool! Of course, when I was dealing with runes, I used them as protective amulets saturated with energy.

Space Marines and critical thinking in this religious obscurantism of the Imperium? Although this is the tragedy of the 40k world, each side has its own unshakable ideology ...

Why daemon at first did not sense Cyrus back in the woods? It’s because of his special cloak?

The spiritual exit of Yaidev from the body and the search for the obsessed are amazingly detailed.

I am expecting from this story an intriguing pursuit with traps, battles and mutual assistance.

I really liked this update, the way Yaidev parts ways with Cyrus hints at greater adventure yet to come while also wrapping up this story. Can't wait to see more.

I've always loved the stories with interactions between Eldar and humans, be they normal men or Astartes. This story is a perfect example of that, a proof of how two enemies can work together to reach their goal. Though Yaidev and Cyrus are not exactly enemies, at least in my opinion. They seem to me more like two people who, deep down, feel a certain respect for each other but would never admit it openly. Once again, well done Corvus.
