You really do these Historical!AUs justice! The characters were well preserved for the era, and I was really impressed with how you managed to maintain some appropriate character depth for them whilst also fitting them in with the AU.

I loved Marcus and Katie’s conversation regarding his heart belonging to the sea, and her unwillingness to commit to ‘adventure’. The dialogue was perfectly written for the era, again well done.

The opening descriptions aboard the ship were really beautiful, particularly the imagery of the moon touching the ocean.
