I’ve been reading fanfiction for years now and I have to say that it’s incredibly rare to find a gem like this. It’s one of those stories that really make you fall in love with the characters you know all over again, all while reminding you how amazing the series is.

Onto some constructive criticism, my biggest nitpick is generally from the earlier chapters where we’re introduced to newer members and given entire arcs revolving around them and their views but eventually sidelining them for the main cast of people, large example being Jakob and how he seems to be losing relevance in the current stage of the story. While it is understandable doing so in order to advance the plot more smoothly, it would be nice to have a small portion dedicated to show how everyone in the army is faring at some point between major chapters.

However, while the story could do better in regards to side characters. The way you handle the main cast is commendable. There’s a lot of depth between Azura and Corrin while Robin’s secrecy is looking to be an incredibly defining character arc. But out of all the main cast, I really have to applaud how you’ve handled Grima. This may just be the best portrayal I’ve seen of him in any work of fiction, and it’s rare to find a fanfic that turns a former antagonist into a relatable anti-hero. Absolutely incredible, this story is definitely up there in terms of fanfiction.

Finally! You make a triumphant return to this beautiful story!

I have been waiting for this for a while, and I'm so glad you're back. This was very well done in my opinion. I loved the lead up and the epic battle. Also, Robin's back! Woo!

I am OVER JOYED that you are continuing this fantastic story. I have loved this fanfic since the very beginning and I can't believe I never remembered to comment (better late than never). This is my favourite fanfic and can't wait to see how the story progresses from here.
I like how you included the vallites people in this story because that part in the game when corrin becomes ruler of valla never made since. I also like how you have grima in control for a fight scene with his thoughts in character. Happy to have Robin back and wondering how he will react to the situation.

Ok so I never comment on this because I’m shy but also, this is one of those fics that I reread when my mood is low and it has been huge to help my motivation to write. I love Grima-focus fics that deal with whatever happened that made them go like that, and I specially love the Takumi-focus of the latest chapters. Let them be friends, and cute, and augh thank you very much! Keep up the good work, and also good luck with life!

This has been an excellent read so far, and probably the best Awakening/Fates crossover story. I like this chapter especially, with Grima and Corrin being focused on more too. I kinda ship Robin and Corrin

I freaking love this. I binged this from start to finish in 2 days (which I very rarely manage to do with stories as long as this, as I usually end up taking small breaks after reading a good chunk).
I love how you’ve characterized Grima. We can actually understand why he does some of the things he does, even if we don’t necessarily condone or agree with them. He’s no longer a 2D cliche bad guy. And the way Robin has slipped into this world and storyline doesn’t feel unnatural or forced.

I very much look forward to the next chapter!
(I also pray that Selena and Laslow don’t find out about the switch and try to kill him, although I must admit that the scenario WOULD be very interesting)
