This was so good! Despite, as mentioned, all the loose ends this was just such a good read. Like from the beginning to end it was just awesome, like honestly I felt the anxiety they were probably feeling as they were hiding and just ughh. I can't wait to read the second part to this.

I was super shocked at the cops entrance and how they arrested and traumatized...kids...having fun. Sure it's illegal but damn, don't they have other things to do, like arrest real criminals? No offense but sometimes you american are crazy. (Ok I assume it's american given the graduation mention, the college etc, it looks american but maybe it's not)
I find it very shocking and I hope it's not actually like you describe it.
