Oh my God! This AU really had a darker tone, but it neverthless had a happy ending!

Frisk escaped from the surface world where the evil Chara was ruling it with an iron fist. And once he was in the Underground, he and Prince Asriel had to convince Queen Toriel that the monsters should remain in the Underground as it was way too dangerous for them to go to the surface. It was a good thing that Asriel became the new King of the Underground and now he could also look after Frisk.

Honestly, I really don't mind the ending being anticlimactic. Some stories don't always have an exciting climax to follow through (though I do like the Queen Toriel fight here) and they still became good. I also love that Frisk ends up staying with Asriel in the castle. After all, these two have definitely bonded through the journey.

Lastly, I do like the interaction between Asriel and Toriel. More so when he said, "First off, don't 'my child' me, Queen."

Also, I can see Azzie not liking adopted family members, thanks to Chara. And I wonder what the hell is wrong with the Core?

Whoa, did not expect that. Test subjects who was injected with determination started to act like rabid animals and their dust starts spreading on other monsters like a disease? Holy crap, that ain't good. I hope that situation gets fixed soon. Also, I kinda feel bad for Queen Toriel now after reading the last scene, specially when she went to the other side of the room and looks at the picture of her family. Oh man, the feels got a bit real.

I quite like this story. I think it is actually better than tyrantale so far. I like Chara, but I feel like he/she is the most unknown character in the game., and I have scarcely seen a depiction of chara that seems right. In AUs I know characters aren't exactly themselves, but I much prefer seeing how the changes affect characters we already understand. That being said, I imagine Chara may still have some part of the story other than being a looming threat, and I would be perfectly fine with that. I still like stories with Chara in it. I just prefer this story at the moment.

This is quite amazing. So, now Frisk and Asriel have Papyrus, Sans, and Undyne to accompany them on the journey to the castle in order to dissuade the queen from breaking the barrier. I can't wait to see them go through Hotland.

The story is goin at a faster pace than i expected it to, considering that they r alr at Waterfall. So i take it that there will be only a few chaps? Or will there be alot more even tho they reached Toriel?
