Dick's reasons for becoming Nightwing made sense here. I admire how you found a way to explain about everything. I also like how his transformation had nothing to do with being angry at Batman for Jason or anything else. :)

I like how we got to see these two teens hang out as teens, though the super-eating is present and appreciated too. I've often wished I could eat like a speedster since I myself have a sensitive stomach, and often eat less than my eyes want. It would get expensive though. Thank goodness Dick's guardian is rich. I have a feeling he'll be picking up the tab. Either that or Wally has a heck of a summer-weekend job for a young teenager. I doubt he gets paid for his hero-work. I wonder how his parents "do" feed him.

Awww ... Nice drop-in mention of Roy. I almost think he'd be married to Cheshire by now, but maybe not. Maybe they're in the dating stage. It's kinda weird to think about. 8o I wonder how the team felt when they found out?

Wow. Deathstroke is such a creep. I think I see where this is going now. I can't believe it didn't occur to me in chapter one.

I think the boys took proper care before having Wally use his powers. Unless there was a camera or someone with super-sight watching I doubt any harm will come of it. I appreciate you writing in their carefulness like that.

It didn't occur to me Alfred would consider it bad manners Dick not letting him open the door like a proper butler, but it makes sense now.

I wonder how Bruce knew Wally raced them there, maybe cameras on Manor grounds or sattelite over Gotham, tracers on the kids? All of those make sense actually. His being upset also makes sense, but again, I personally think the boys took proper care not to cause damage doing so.

DIck's fear here is interesting since he was so casual about the attack. But I suppose, as a masked, vigilante, superhero getting stabbed and tortured becomes run-of-the-mill, but having your identity known by a super-villain is panic-button level.

I feel bad for Wally here. Eating is serious business for a Speedster and he doesn't have super-hearing. I'm sure if Dick made some noise he would have noticed, though what either of them would have found to do in a fight in civilian clothes is anyone's guess.

I'm surprised it took him so long to think of Bruce's identity being known now too, that was about the first thing that occurred to me, but then I suppose the bomb-drop was a lot to take in.

This was intense.

You can always tell a jerk, I think by how they overreact when you diss them. Man is Death-stroke a jerk. He is a cold customer too, calling the whole league, propping Robin up, cooling speaking while moving the sword in a wound. He is, in a way, a worthy opponent of Batman, but going after a kid, someone's kid is "waaaaaaay" more than personal. That is evil. It's almost understandable when villainous adults attack kids trying to ruin their schemes. Tracking down and attacking a kid to get back at his guardian though, makes me want to spit.

I hope the whole league gets on his tail for this. Yet, Bruce stating something like a vengeance line bothers me a bit. There is the whole "arms-race" idea I think Gordon mentioned to Batman at the end of "Batman Begins," and unless you end it by actually killing a villain, which is so problematic in itself, upping it now would probably not be a good idea between Bat and Deathstroke. Deathstroke has already shown he way, way overreacts.

Robin, on the other hand, almost seems to have under-reacted to an assault, which makes him seem really mature. Makes me wonder how many other times he's been stabbed and down-right "tortured" which is a disturbing thought.

Y eso que el capitulo anterior dejó un lindo sabor... está es la guinda del helado.
Es más corto, pero sustancioso... el nacimiento de Nightwing y el de el segundo Robin fue sutil y al mismo tiempo dulce.
