![]() ![]() ![]() This is great! I love how you get inside Face's head, you write his inner voice really well. It's a very realistic explanation for why he hated the idea of getting married in the episode - we know how heartbroken he was when Lesley left him and you show here how deeply it affected him. I also love the way you've shown that Hannibal realises what he's done and apologises - he knows Face so well, but he just got carried away with his plan. |
![]() ![]() Its a nice story. You really play up the fact that Face has a injured foot. My only problem is the fact that Face was not the only one hurt when the helicopter crashed it seemed that Hannibal was in a full leg cast and would have been laid up longer than face. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is great. I loved Face admitting that he wanted a family and Hannibal admitting he was wrong. I Loved the father and son relationship you created between the two men. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I so love this story. I like to get into Face's head. He really wanted to get married to Leslie and start a family with her, but that didn't work out. I do think he was left completely broken hearted after that experience. And then there is the playboy front and his so-called fear of commitment. I think deep down he really did want to get married and have a family of his own. He never did have that except with the guys. And off course Hannibal knew something was bothering him. This story was really touching. I could sense the pain he was in. But who wouldn't want to become Mrs. Templeton Peck ? |
![]() ![]() ![]() You can have your picket fence with me, Face! I'll stick with you through the missions! Jackie totally wasn't the girl for you, Face:):) Great story, btw. I loved how you did Face's POV:). |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aww, another sensitvely written angst moment for Face. I like that his PoV gives a bit more dimension to his character. He really does want a normal life more than his flashy, fabricated lifestyle. Also interesting Hannibal PoV. Also adds a nice twist to that particular episode. But Face should have know he couldn't pull the wool over Hannibal's eyes. Nice tag-on, muchacha! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor poor Face... you can live with me behind my white picket fence. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor Face. He may be a playboy, but I'm sure when he finds the right girl, he'll be the most faithful man ever. I liked this story. It showed perfectly what Face seemed to be thinking all through the episode. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nicely done! Excellent job on 1st person pov. It's my favorite way to write, but it's not always easy. You really did a great job getting into Face's head...this felt very true to canon. |
