Maybe for a sequel you could do a story showing the sky walker family’s life with the Lars’. Or, maybe padme returns to tatooine once the federation invasion has passed to purchase the family out of gratitude for their role in helping them. Given how her opinion of the Jedi was changed for the worse when she learned more about how they treat their younglings, she could offer the Skywalkers citizenship on Naboo, and once they’ve grown up, Obi and Ani could start their own order of force users that serve directly under the royal force of Naboo.

As for a prequel, maybe a short story showing the birth of Ani, and Obi’s bond with the boy as they grow up.

This was really good! I enjoyed this idea of Obi wan being a Skywalker! I’m definitely interested in reading a sequel and/or a prequel if you were to make one!

It would be interesting to read a sequel. Maybe Shmi wouldn't be captured by the sand people.

what was really great about this was that it DID really make the jedi seem a bit like slavers. i guess it's more technically closer to a religion, but seems on the cultish side. granted a cult that tries to do nice things usually

This was very fun and interesting to read. I love the relationship between Obi-Wan and Anakin. I'd love to see more. Both prequel and sequel ideas sound fun. I hope you'll write them if you haven't already.
