This is a work of art. I loved all 53k words of it. This could probably make a phenomenal two or fourshot, but I like it better like this for some reason.

OH MY GOSH WHERE DO I START?

This is probably the first Girl Meets World fanfiction I've ever typed a review for. Mostly because I'm mostly dabbling in anime or books but DUDE THIS IS TOO FANTASTIC FOR ME TO IGNORE.

One, may I say that I love Lucas and Maya as a couple to death and after bingeing on GMW to catch up I was losing my love for them in favor or Joshaya and Rilaya but that this wonderful thing refueled my love for them. Yes? Okay good. Two, YOUR WRITING STYLE IS FREAKING PHENOMENAL! When you stuck words together it conveyed every single emotion the characters were experiencing. This was heartbreaking and invigorating at the same time.

Your grammar is perfectly perfect—and if it isn't it's because I'm young and don't understand all of the mechanics that goes hand in hand with perfect grammar. If that makes any sense. And when your grammar is messed up, it's purposeful. It's wonderful because it's like art—there's words, the reader is supposed to imagine, but its artwork. It's visual as well. Honestly, I love that and try to (and fail to) achieve that in my own work. The fact that you pull it off seemingly so effortlessly makes me bitter and glad because I get to experience /artwork/.

This addressed basically every single fear I have for the future and made me love it and be reassured. Write a novel, you wonderful writer you, I'm sure you'll be a hit! This encompasses every single thing Girl Meets World tries to convey while simultaneously topping it in every aspect ohmygoshiloveyouandthis. I will never be able to watch GMW without thinking that it will never live up to this masterpiece.

Maya—oh my gosh—Maya is EVERYTHING in this fic. She's "hope is for suckers" and Cory-before-he-was-Feeny (at least in my opinion) all at the same tome! She's so relatable and you don't forget about her past in the show. This is an AU but Maya is still irrevocably MAYA despite it.

Actually, same goes for the rest of the characters. Sometimes when you read AU the characters aren't the same—yes they look and have the same names as the character you know and love, but they aren't the same. In this fic, you got all of them right. I don't really like to read GMW AUs, but in your fic everything is so en pointe that I don't even notice—or care.

Maya as a teacher is amazing. Lucas as Mr. Matthews as Mr. Feeny is amazing. Riley and Maya's friendship in this—it's amazing. Truly the epitome of sisters before misters.

It's late for me and I'm barely thinking as I write this review because I'm tired and trying to critique this "professionally" (and failing because I'm a loser preteen-almost-teen that's super pretentious and oh well) but honestly you deserve this and way more because this piece is truly, truly phenomenal. I'm surprised your review corner is not OVERFLOWING with praise and compliments because everything about this is perfect and beautiful.

Continue writing because you're talented. I look forward to seeing your work in the future. You are seriously talented. Honestly.

(P.S. Sorry for this superrrrrrr long review probably ridden with grammar/spelling errors because I was typing so fast to get all of my feelings for this piece down before they ran out. Also autocorrect, haha.)
