GREAT story could not stop laughing

It's nice that at least the last chapter updated ended the show. I was hesitant reading this for lots of reasons including the number of fanfics that write Giovanni as Ash's father, Ash being gender bent, the conflict of laws, age difference (it's hard sometimes to read Ash as an adult given how long he has been shown as a kid/teen), the immorality of Team Rocket being downplayed at all along with with the rest of the Teams, and etc but it was a nicely written fic even if it was cheesy and kind of misses a lot of seriousness. But that's kind of the point, I guess, this fic is meant to be light hearted and not full of angst or such. It's kind of fun reading into though just something casual. I do kind of regret that you weren't able to totally finish this plot line - it would have been interesting to see the follow up interviews given how obvious he really liked her, how did the viewers see it (not just Ash's friends and family), how the editors edited the whole capture moments and what would show in the videos, the opinions of the the other girls (capital JANELLE) and just how you would wrap this all up.

Oh My god just had this thought male ash as bachelor! there would be so many applicants both male and female ahhhh.. but to be honest i love the work youve done on this site its all amazing

Wow. Yeah, okay, that fits. I was thinking after commenting about Giovanni inviting all the other disasters to their wedding to rub it in that he gets Ash, that the invites are a thing for if he hasn't shot them yet. (His original designs resemble mobsters for a reason.) Now? I really shouldn't be surprised that he lost his cool and commandeered everything via Team Rocket. Of course, this might be entirely contrary to the initial intent of "improving his public image" and "disproving the theories of your Bosshood to the public". Though it's not like the producers are going to want to tell, when he's successfully scared the shit out of them already.

*maniacal laughter*
They really should have done more background-interviews pre-show. Or poked the International whatchamacallits that keep trying to catch and disband the Teams, like Looker. The Interpol equivalent.
This is also why they should have let Ash keep a Pokémon with her even if they quibbled about which one(s) and when they have to keep out.

They i/really/i need to start doing a better job of hiding the identities of their contestants, at least for the rest of this season. At least so far the debacles weren't intended to injure anyone.

Giovanni needs to invite every last one of these menaces to his wedding if/when he gets Ash. He'd do it to rub it in their faces that he "wins", Ash might genuinely consider a lot of them friends (or hope they'll finally get a clue). What a glorious disaster that will be.

*cackles* Oh my. If they keep travelling so far afield, this is going to keep happening isn't it? They've never had to realize it might be a problem to let the ladies travel under their own names openly even within the group, which is how I assume people realized Ash was back in Sinnoh so fast. Names on plane tickets and customs, etc..
Rename it the "Ash and Giovanni Show" indeed. Giovanni is the Bachelor they're here to see, and Ash is stealing the show with visits from famous people retelling their adventures and some of her save-the-world debacles. Oh man...

THE ADORBS

*cackles* The Rocket Minions are totally shipping them! Or at least the Execs. They are having way too much fun with their Bosses' plight, aren't they? We just haven't gotten to see them yet. Poor Giovanni. Poor Ash. Poor Minions, if Giovanni remains cranky enough about their meddling - he does have the power to make them miserable and the pettiness to do it even if he has to wait a month or two before he can properly enact it.

Aw. How hilarious, the close call they had there once. I'm loving the sneaky references that the producers won't understand. I have to wonder how many minions will catch them and get them? I can wait for the JJM to find out about this and flail all over each other about it. Maybe we'll get a glimpse if this continues after they escape the bloody cameras finally?

I have to wonder how Pokémon would influence the production of this show, and why they aren't using them in those ways. I'm sure there are Pokémon who could help the cameras ninja around to record everything unnoticed. There are Illusion Weavers, after all. Security Psychic types would probably help with their "leak" issue as well as smuggling. Help them catch out any imminent catastrophes before they can escalate too much and either intervene or get it on film.

Poor Ash, so bored. Holing up in a mansion is very much not her type of thing. Especially with no Pokémon and none of her non-Pokémon friends.
I was wondering about that trouble for Giovanni - the work thing. He has way to much work to do to remain completely cut off for weeks straight. Having minions smuggled in means they can smuggle him some work though, which suits his character to arrange. Maybe he can prod someone to edit the Library (or create one for the Ladies)? Slip some things Ash would actually like in there, maybe something to do with Pokémon? Stories or research, video recordings of Leagues, etc..
Maybe nudge her to write her own book? Like a travelogue or autobiography, for now just a simple collection of her adventures and the adventures of her friends - poke and otherwise.

They're adorable. I wonder if the producers will ever find out that he at least already knew of her even if they'd never quite met properly? Wait, they did at some point, he mentioned getting yelled at by an angry protective Ash. Still, even keeping the "Team Rocket" stuff out of it, they i/have/i met before, known about each other before, which could be leaned on to "explain" part of why they are clicking so well - the difference in setting is a chance to actually interact peacefully and they already had reason to be interested in each other non-romantically.

*coos* Ash would be touched by the First Impression Rose, if she actually followed the show at all. I'm not sure she even realizes it's a thing. Hopefully she doesn't mind his reasoning.

(I'm contemplating some plotting of her Pokémon themselves, deciding they miss her and collaborating to sneak in. I kind of want to see that be the thing that makes Giovanni actually bust out laughing on camera finally. Ash in a poke-pile, sheepish and apologetic about her impulsive and stubborn poke-friends.)

I'm surprised they were only there for ten minutes, if that's what Wesley meant. (As opposed to only being gone ten minutes too long.) I'd have thought those stories would take longer.

I bet some of the other producers are already going to be kicking themselves for not including more trainers of any stripe. That was one of the most natural conversations he had all night, and the only one he lost track of the time during, it sounds like.
