There's just something about your one shots...
This was a great read. Go figure that Alex's cover is blown. It get's friken blown in every darn book. Thought it was kind of strange, though, that M16 didn't arrange for Alex's M16 targets to fake a death. He's been in contact with them this entire time, right? He could have told them, then they would forewarn the targeted agent then the target can play possum.

Other than that, there's isn't much to say. The writing was spare with just enough detail and everything fitted together neatly.

Hahaha, I love this! I love the premise (I began to suspect when he missed twice, and also because I could never believe Alex to be evil :P ...) and how you gave the clues, before finally ending with the action scene, and the punchline :D

And ooh, on your advice, I've just read a sample of that book and it's quite good! The premise reminds me a bit of Robin Hobb's Farseer Trilogy (also really good, although the main character is much more depressive...)
