Literally all you did was take the script and plot of the musical and copy it word for word, with the only difference being your own character. That is not what story writing is about and people would be better off just watching the video.

If you are going to do a story like this, at least add in details that might not be present in the musical, like maybe describing how a character may be feeling at a given time or what the atmoshere is like.
