Personally I feel that Yang should go to prison and she wasn't punished harshly enough. I also feel that when Jaune wakes up that he shouldn't forgive her for what she did, she put him in the hospital and he's barely alive, any rational person would feel extreme resentment if not outright hate towards that person. Yang needs to learn her lesson and be subject to all the consequences that entails. I feel that her actions merit more than "You're expelled" and what amounts to a slap on the wrist, this wasn't a simple schoolyard brawl or a minor fight, SHE ALMOST KILLED SOMEONE and it wasn't in self defense or for an actual good reason for doing so. I do look forward to seeing how your story turns out regardless of how it goes.

I think this story is really heartwarming, the psychological aspects are very well explored. I really appreciate how you took time to develop each characters' feelings. Hopefully, when Jaune will wake up, he'll set things straight, not because it's his fault but because that's the kind of person he is. Yang really didn't deserve what happened to her, Jaune as well, but I really wish they'll overcome this situation.

Also, good work in developing their teammates, Ruby and Pyrrha especially, we really can feel and empathize with them.

Concerning Raven, I'm curious to know how you'll handle her character.

But now I kinda want him to die so Yang Could suffer and learn the consequences of her action in a deep, dark and painful way.

Nora is not exactly wrong. Yang openly announced that she was going to beat up Jaune and her teams response was basically a shrug. I'd consider them complicit in all this as well.

That bit about Taiyang not giving a shit about his daughters was exaggerated. A lot. It's ok if he went through a hard time but not worrying if Ruby and Yang were eating properly or even alive for that matter is retarded. Especially after we've met the canon Taiyang.

There are servers factors on how it is team rwby's fault. I can't list all of them. #1 they didn't try to stop her other then weiss's half ass advice since yang isn't that smart not saying she's dumb but she hasn't show very many forms of smart due to her charging headfirst like a moron. #2 they didn't try to deal with that short temper of hers I mean seriously I am pretty sure some of the trouble team rwby got into is a result of her short temper.
