One of the things I appreciate on my long fics is the perspective of someone who has read straight through, as opposed to a chapter a week during posting.

This still works-boy howdy, does it work! I still love everything about this fic: I'm still totally invested in all the characters, and the drama, and the fight scenes, and the love scenes! The action is tight and propelling, pacing for the whole daggum fic is /awesome/, and with chapter after chapter of cliffhangers, you had me reading everywhere I went for three days. I was even grateful for the stilted robotic voice of the FF app because it meant I didn't have to stop just because I was driving. I love it, it's fantastic, I want more long fic from you and more of (any of) these characters. Brava!

Just found this story the other day and I could stop reading it. Absolutely loved the way you developed the characters and gave bill, Percy Fleur and Audrey their own stories within the story we love!

I’m so happy I came across this story! It was so emotional and fun and beautifully written! I adored Audrey and fleurs friendship (and Percy and Olivers) ! And I’ve totally fallen in love with Percy and Audrey. I’d love to read more about their relationship in the aftermath of the war. How does Audreys family react to Percy? I imagine Audrey getting along well with the Weasley siblings haha. Anyways I suppose I’ll have to read through your other fics!

It's so hard to put into words all the emotions this story made me feel. I'm in the middle of completing my thesis due only two days from now and I somehow read through every 56 chapters of your stories in two days alone. I'm a big Bill and Fleur fan so I didn't begin this story with Audrey and Percy in mind. But I fell in love with the way you wrote their love story. My heart aches to know that this story has you thank you for writing a story and its characters so beautifully.

I'm crying because I finished it. I've been so bored recently as this has been an amazing escape. It started because I remembered reading your Katie and Oliver stories and now I'm here again. Thanks for your amazing work, the extraordinary way you portrayed some of my favourite characters and the elaborate plots which must have taken hours to think of. Please write more wonderful stories! Wow. I have so much to say. First of all, thank you so, so much for the best quarantine binge, a girl could ask for. I started Order of Mercy about a week ago and it literally had me up till four ready to wake up and go right back to reading. This had the quality of a nyt bestseller with the character development, plot, and writing style. This even had me looking up words! I feel like I know Percy, Audrey, Fleur, and Bill so much better. I've always felt that they are hidden gems, but I never realized all they could be like MandyinKC did.
She developed strong female characters that really snuck up on me and surprised me with their effectiveness. As a reader and a writer it never really clicked for me that women look so much stronger when they are given the space to deal with their problems and process information without their romantic partner being there all the time like normal humans and then having conversations with their s.o. later. This changed my whole perspective.
I absolutely loved how well this fits into the existing canon because it really feels like canon to me. I find it hard to tell the difference between the fic I read and what I remember from the original content, but I feel like my experience is all the better for that after reading this. I had read all of the Oliver and Katie stories before this on Ao3 and after reading this, which I have come to the conclusion that Order of Mercy is the pièce de résistance. I am committed to reading every work MandyinKC has to offer.

I also really hope she puts this piece on Ao3 so people over there can enjoy it too!

I love this universe. If you ever get the notion of coming back to it I would love to see how Audrey and Percy's relationship develops outside the war. Just doing normal things like introducing Percy to her family

Brilliant fic

I must say, as iffy as certain fragments of this are, (I do rather favor FloreatCastellum, as her stories comply with my own thinking lol), you've written a very amazing story, the epilogue of which certainly ties things together nicely. :-)

This story is a new take on things, to be certain lol You should show the wizarding community as it is now, in the y2k & beyond.
