It's been a while since I've revisited the fanfic section of this fandom, but reading this was like wearing some old slippers that have never lost their sense of comfortability.

A nice, sweet shipping read between the OTP that also does some concise worldbuilding. What more could a fan ask for in this situation?

I did not realize that today is the Chinese new year until I had looked at my calendar.

Anyway, this was a really nice piece, I have always enjoyed your writing. you write the characters in character and write Tipo in a believable manner(my opinion.) This one was real funny, especially the part about the fake marriage just so they could get Tigress some medical attention. The part where Tigress thought that Po had married some random girl, and was even threatening to beat her up was very funny. The best part was Po's reaction to Tigress asking how far would the duties of a fake husband would go, thinking that she was referring to consummation of the marriage, when really, she was asking him to get her some herbal tea from a tea shop. mischivus Tigress and nervous Po are my favorite thing.

I still think the Emperor is worse. I mean, he's the Emperor! Po being injured and Tigress being pregnant are the lesser issue.

...although from a father's perspective Shifu would most likely disagree with my opinion.

I always imagined the moment in which Tigress would see the portrait of Po's mom, and you plasmaste it in words incredibly well, besides describing with acts like healing between them the love that they have, very discreet but of course they are more than friends, I loved it, I'm glad to read you again.
