About your question... hmmm... I always thought Victor hunts people for fun in his spare time XD XD Somehow, I can't imagine him in the movies, can't imagine him being into guns since he is a weapon himself. He's so tuned in to his inner feral that I honestly think he would either sleep or play with his prey, like cats. Maybe scratch his claws in the woods.

Yeah, I see what she's doing, but in reality, she acts like an angry teenager XD Also, I would like to see her if Victor went on a date... Just saying.

Btw, is it another feral she's gonna have the drinks with? Because after Victor's warning, that would be really, well not smart.

Deep down she's obviously aware of the bond and she knows she can't fight it (regardless of her stubborn refusal). And think these bonding moments are really important for her to be comfortable with the whole mate concept. From what I got from her personality, even if she gave into the instinct, she might have moments of happiness afterwards but in general, she would be one unhappy mate if she didn't have a different kind of connection with him as well. So this chapter didn't feel like a filler to me :) quite the opposite, I think it was a really important chapter.
