Really nice one-shot here. I love seeing some interesting takes on this pairing, and with how the more recent chapters have situated Ochako's newfound awareness of Izuku it's even more fun to play around with than ever before.

In this case, I must say I like how you handled the scene as an expansion to what canonically happened in the manga; melding together elements of chapter 102's story content with some fan ideas that stretch, without breaking, the previously established situations.

I'll definitely need to check out your multi-chapter story now as you've left a really strong impression here.

Great writing style

Great read! I love when fics expand on the source content without stretching the bounds of canon. The use of "second favorite" and "favorite" right after one another came across as a bit clunky, but the rest was very well written! I'll be checking out more of you work
