I really want Naruto to be reunited with her family. And for them to be happy and there be lots of fluffy scenes, full of love and stuff. Mariko is just too cute.

How about she gets stuck in with Fuu? No one ever gives her or her good relationship with Choumei any attention.

If you really want to be mean to Kagami you could make Mariko develop a crush on her. Nether of them knows there retaliated and it would be fun to watch Kagami trying to get her to leave her alone. Especially after what Mariko seid about fan girls.

It’s not sitting well with me, how suddenly and thoroughly you discarded naruto. Not even so much the how.

As I see it, Kagami was ‘raised’ as each of them. Inheriting some form of identity from Kyubi, Kushina and Naruto.

I understand and respect the sense of abhorrent rejection, and I’m good to fly with that. I just really hope - for family and friendships sake - that she can find some middle ground to make peace with what she had and was.

I hate to see her friendship with the Nara boy waste away with all he’s come to contribute.

I do admire her strength, but I also fondly recognize that boisterous nature.

I've only read up to chapter 7 as of this post, but I wanted to put down my thoughts and ideas before I lost them. First off, this story can be pretty flippin' dark. Yeesh! But, well, in a less than flashy interpretation of a world of shinobi, not surprising.
As for ideas, I'm not even close to claiming great understanding of lore and world mechanics, let alone what's already planned for this story, but here goes. The jutsu that was meant to be used on Naruto was intended to be used on a single entity as far as I can tell, in this case the Kyuubi. Clearly, that plan went 30 degrees north of yesteryear. Unless I'm mistaken, and I admit I very well could be, it seems to have released both entities minds along with the Kyuubi and it's chakra, the violent and unpredctible method resulting in what seems to be Naruto's mind and chakra fusing with the Kyuubi's form and chakra, causing a hybrid Kyuubi form. If that's the case, what happened to the Kyuubi's mind? I'd like to think that, with the Kyuubi's "body" already possessing a mind on reforming, the remaining mind gravitated towards it's other half that lacked one. It could make it's way to Mariko and be reabsorbed into the Kyuubi chakra she contains, the Kyuubi slowly regaining awareness and remembering, sorta like waking from a coma. It could make for an interesting dynamic to connect the twins, for good or bad.

I'd like to preface this but the fact that I don't generally like this kind of storyline, where the author wants to have their cake and eat it too of oh naruto has a family but he was abandoned and his sister has a part of the fox in her. Generally I find it listic and detract from Naruto's character . But I've known your work in from other stories and I knew you were a good writer so I stuck with it even when I didn't want to even when I thought that it's a bit over the top. I am glad that I did because of the position it is in right now and I can kind of understand the necessity of the chapters before they became what they are right now. I'm interested in seeing where this goes.

If Kagami does end up with the Akatsuki, can you make it a Deidara/Naru pairing please?

Great Chapter, I enjoyed reading it.

The way I see it, I can't see Kushina learning Kagami identity turing out well. In fact, I see it finishing, at best in a very bitter way, full of distrust and a sort of resentment. Why ? Because the first possible reaction I think Kushina would have is to, at best, believe Kagami is the Kyuubi who lost her memory and inherited Naruto's.

Why would she believe that ? Because that's the first thing I thought about. And I know it's a Fem!Naruto fic so I know it is the actual Naruto who is in there. But Kushina does not.

Worst case scenario is Kushina flying off the handle in vengeful but wrongly placed rage and a tentative to seal Kagami only to discover she is of flesh and blood.
Despite that, I'm still going to hope. Even if said actual family recomposing is in a roundabout way like Kagami adopted by the Uzumaki family while them not knowing she is Naruto/Kyuubi in another form.

I'm wondering though, what the seal was actually about. I understand it assimilated the Kyuubi in Naruto, but I don't understand how the full assimilation caused Naruto' soul to to flee and somehow recreate a complete new body.
