This is really good and very well written!

When I saw Sam/Falcon listed as one of the main characters here, I thought you might have Rhodey nudge Tony towards Sam for some therapy. But I actually like this better. Sam doesn't know Tony that well, like you said, and it's sweet of Sam to offer his support to Rhodey instead. I'm sure he needs it, but he'd be easy to overlook with Tony's more obvious troubles.

I also like your references to "original Avengers" and "new Avengers." It's hard to think of them as anything else ;-)
