Most of my praise has already been sung by other readers, but it's so incredibly well-written, not just in the stylistic or the psychological sense but, to borrow from another reviewer, in it's humanity. You hit at the heart of things beautifully and compassionately. Bravo.

This is sooooo good! It actually reminded me a lot of when my cousin came back from Afghanistan, so it hit kinda close to home. I don't know why I hadn't read this sooner!

Alfred was so bloody cold to Arthur that it actually hurt to read. I had to stop reading a couple of times in the first two chapters.

I love how their realationship mended so gradually. It was very sweet and warm.

I gotta admit that I was holding back on reading this story; I thought it to be sad. It wasn't, though. I enjoyed it very much.

I just love how this story focused more on the recovery rather than the horrors of war that Alfred faced. Not only was it that much easier to read, but it also gave those subtle undertones of hope.

I loved Arthur and Alfred's relationship in this. I don't find many fan fics where they are brothers.
Also, I'd like to write a Hetalia fanfic, but I'm worried that people won't like it. Have any advice?
