Totally heartbreaking how sad Neal seemed and I can totally imagine that he probably felt that way a lot in the show, but just kept it carefully hid. I am sad the show never did a Christmas episode so maybe some of this could have been touched upon.

Excellent! You combine well the fun part when Neal makes those crazy suggestions and the insightful, nice heartwarming part where Neal gets to belong. Nicely written; it's all what a Christmas story should be!

Aw Poor Neal so sad. His ramblings while sick. And that is how he really feels and thinks that Peter thinks that little of him. He was like a little lost kid. But luckily he had Peter and El to take care of him.

This was an amazing story. Poor Neal, thinking so low of himself. But in the end he believed that Peter and El mean it when they say he belongs and that was heartwarming. Thanks for the great story.

Heartbreaking to see Neal so broken down. But he'll be okay, he let Peter see some of the real Neal Caffrey. Peter and El were excellent, you could tell they were sincere in the offer to stay and rest. Thanks for writing.
