Reviews for Statistical Anomaly, or The Mystery of the Brides in the Bath
Deana chapter 10 . 3/28/2019
Excellent story!
gopadfoot chapter 10 . 11/7/2017
Wow, I couldn't believe that this was based on a true-to-life case. What a terribly creative way to murder without leaving traces! And how terribly creative to reenact this scenario, although not very safe...
So of course, Sherlock would offer Sally as the sacrifice, and then go ahead and jump in himself. And ask John to drown him. And John listened, of course...
But seriously, everything, from the Sherlock/John interactions to the details of the scam, to the involvement of Molly Hooper, made for an amazing read. Thank you for another job well done!
Aloei chapter 10 . 2/10/2017
Wow. Just wow. I've just watched another episode of Sherlock.
I don't even know where to start. Everyone was in character, the story was gripping, the pacing wonderful. The idea that John was the murderer, even though the reader obviously knows it's untrue (that is when they take you at your word that you don't write AU), was presented so well, with the little seeds planted all along the way, that I couldn't help the what-ifs and a general feeling of doubt.
The screenplay format took some getting used to, but in the end it was perfect for this story. I honestly can play it in my head and just wish BBC would buy it from you and give us a Christmas special or something. So let us know if you get the call!
And the behind the scenes were really interesting. What a creepy world we live in.
Ajayfray chapter 1 . 1/12/2017
What a great twist! Im really enjoying thus so far!
TheGracefulBlueCat chapter 10 . 12/28/2016
Excellent case, as usual.
Thank you for writing down the true facts of the case, too. Very nice to have those.
Thank you for a great story.
Well done :)
TheGracefulBlueCat chapter 9 . 12/28/2016
Woah. That was kind of intense.
Sally would have sued him for pulling a stunt like that on her.
Love when you write caring/doctor John. :)
Nice case-solving in this chapter, too.
TheGracefulBlueCat chapter 8 . 12/28/2016
Oh, this is so Sherlock, wanting to help John but it comes out the wrong way he does it.
So much in character :)
But I am glad the cat's finally out and they know what they have to deal with.
TheGracefulBlueCat chapter 6 . 12/28/2016
It's amazing how well done your plots are and how good the cases. I love your works :)
TheGracefulBlueCat chapter 5 . 12/28/2016
Oh no. I really don't like Sally. You write her true to character, though.
I am a bit surprised Lestrade went with her theories, but at that point he didn't know John very well.
DeathLadyAsWriter chapter 5 . 12/28/2016
I just love your style of writing...
Juliana Brandagamba chapter 10 . 12/26/2016
These last two chapters were a brilliant conclusion to an excellent story! And the detail about the real case was fascinating :)
bgm76 chapter 10 . 12/26/2016
Amazing story! Really great. It could be a Sherlock episode, it's so perfect!
TheGracefulBlueCat chapter 3 . 12/26/2016
I love how well done your case-stuff is.
Great chapter, love it :)
Wynsom chapter 10 . 12/26/2016
Wonderful end to an intriguing homicide! Your story wove our characters seamlessly through the fabric of the real serial murders and delivered the perfect modernization. Brilliant storytelling!
TheGracefulBlueCat chapter 1 . 12/26/2016
