This story is so good! Also, it does make a lot more sense than the original pilot episode. Can't wait for more!

Yay for some added realism. I liked that you had Barry worrying about his job and the apartment etc, when I rewatched the pilot recently I was thinking they never addressed any of those things. The part about him waking up with sort of sleep paralysis did get to me personally since I've had that and it can be quite scary. I did LOL at the whole Gaga song bit too.

This is much more realistic than the show. (I can understand the time limits and the preference to be more creative since it is a fictional superhero show, but it is still a little frustrating at times how unrealistic they can be, you know?). I really like being able to see it like this.

I can't wait to read the next chapter. This is amazing, as always. I really love your work! I laughed many times, especially during the first chapters, when you were sending picks to the original plot or some scenes in movies/shows which doesn't make much sense. Please update as soon as you can (along your other stories).

I so wish the writers had included that scene in the final product. You including it makes up for it, given I'd never had known about it otherwise. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.

Yeah I agree with you that it makes more sense for him to try to figure things out on his own. Thanks for pointing that out. The pilot should have been two hours long, so they could include stuff. like that.

Wow, another great chapter. I never realized how much the show either skipped, didn’t explore or didn't address. Even the detail about the catheter, from the previous chapters. Another thing I thought of...if Joe and Iris were watching him that closely why didn't they figure out the secret sooner, on the show?
