Awesome story and I love all the intrigue. I like all the different angles that are being explored and the actions being taken after this severe incident which exposed a serious breach in security which showed Konoha to be extremely compromised and having an extreme weakness which could of lead to the end of the Village if the wrong parties had become aware of how bad the situation was before it could be corrected.

I like the angle you have Ino playing but I'm also a sucker for a Ino/Naruto pairing (it's easily my preferred) but I'm guessing this story either won't have any pairings or they're going to be taking a back of the bus seat in this story and that's also how I prefer it as I like that angle and aspect to a story, I never like them being to front and center as I prefer the action and political intrigue to take the center stage.

Interesting twist at the end of this chapter with Danzo not being responsible for these deaths but it's not surprising that many others would quickly want to clean house and remove any evidence they have been working against Konoha with the extreme security measures that have all of a sudden taken place no outside forces would be wanting to leave any traces that can lead back and be used against them. Weather they be other Villages or organisations like Orochimaru's or others.

Guessing the story title fits in for this as I'm guessing Orochimaru went to far with Naruto and has caused Konoha to react more severely than he wanted them to. Which wouldn't surprise me as in certain situations Orochimaru definitely can lack the proper impulse control at times.

Maybe this Chakra defense can be the initial expression of Uzumaki Chakra chains.
I really hope koala can teach Naruto what others couldn't and that he takes sealing into interest, even though initially it would be because of paranoia.
I like more yaoi couples or none at all but this Ino that you portray... I wouldn't mind her as a couple. I know she treats him like a patient but hey, he's her First patient.

Regardless of what caused this fic to be resuscitated, it is nice to see more. Naruto's reaction feels honest and makes sense given who his character was at the beginning of the series. I loved seeing more depth in Anko's character beyond KRAZY. And the cliffhanger being that Sarutobi and Danzo BOTH don't know who is striking Konaha was amazing and effective.

Hm, well it'll be interesting to see such a different side of Anko. And Danzo's surprised me as much as hiruzen. Unless of course he's lying to keep out of trouble.

I like what I've seen so far of the interaction between Anko and Naruto. Plus Koala being there added something that really aided the flow between them imo. That bit at the end, that's really got me curious.
