My hear breaks for Logan in this chapter. I can see why Rory would have been hesitant to contact Logan again, but this was one situation where she should've put her baby above her own feelings. In AYITL, it always seemed like Logan took her calls, no matter the time of the day, irrespective of Odette's presence. To know that the girl he once loved fiercely could think that he would abandon his child must hurt him a hell lot.

It is also nice to see Logan not pining away for Rory and him wanting to only take care of his son for now. The way I saw Rory and Logan's last scene in AYITL was that Logan accepted the fact that Rory would never want a life with him and be a part of his world no matter how much they love each other. I think he would've genuinely tried to move on after that. It's good to see that he is not going to let his feelings for Rory come between him and his son.
