Instead of a lengthy review, I would like to leave with you my gratitude for writing this story. It may be difficult to find among all the smut and random stories, but it was worth it.

So wonderfully poetic. I like how you've wrapped the story with the opening and ending glimpses of the people on the ice, the analogies of skating as flying and being in a relationship, and that image of bottling a memory like a rare wine is the cherry topping on this exquisite dessert.

The mood that this piece brings to my mind is wistfulness, but also regret. Even though this is a wonderful moment, the glimpses into Audrey's future imply that this was the last wonderful moment for her; that this was as good as it got. She's going to end up dumping this "companion", she's going to continue drinking, sleeping with strangers and move on to harder drugs. She won't find the strength to quit cold turkey and she'll be stuck with her "unwanted thoughts" in the middle of the night. It's sad, but it's not out of character for her, and there's a truth to it - not everyone succeeds at self improvement.

Thank you for adding this wonderful addition to the Huniepop section. This will be one of the crown jewels of the collection.
