OMG, that line almost had me in tears! It's so sweet!

That was a sweet story of the two. Something I like about Lucy is despite being a goth and claiming to not have a heart;she still loves her family more than anything else.

I could feel for her when she was pleading for Lincoln to not fear her and it's nice to know she uses her gothic knowledge to help herself and others (Lincoln in this story) get over nightmares.

The nightmare itself just screamed nightmare fuel and I could sense a general alarm from Lincoln build up from as it went on.

Overall a scaring to heartwarming story with some nice pacing.

This was the first of your stories I read, and it really showed me what you can do as a writer. As a lover of scary stories, I can say that the nightmare sequence at the beginning was very well written, very intense. I felt like certain parts could have used a little more description to ratchet up the horror of the event, but that's just my own personal craving for lots of twisted little details talking.

The second part was absolutely beautiful. Lucy is my favorite of the sisters, so I'm a sucker for any stories featuring her, especially ones with some good brother-sister moments between her and Lincoln. And as other reviewers have said, it was a nice twist to have a younger sibling comforting an older one after a nightmare. You did a great job capturing my favorite thing about Lucy: despite her gloomy exterior and macabre hobbies, she loves her brother and sisters more than anything.

All in all, an amazing story.

Nicely done. It's not often that I read stories where Lincoln is the one that gets helped back to sleep after a nightmare, and by a younger sibling at that. Personally, I would think that the scariest part of the nightmare would be about that book report but hey, that's just me.

Great look into Lucy's character here. Enjoyed it from start to finish.

Simply put: First part was ok, second part was pure nightmare fuel, third part was heartwarming.

While I'm not a fan of the whole "It was just a dream idea" I feel that it works really well here. Also, that Lucy scene was beautiful.

With those in mind however, I feel like you were trying to be descriptive and emotional, while telling the story quickly, causing your voice to get muddled while not building the mood as much as it could've been.

So, I'd rate this story a good 8.5/10! Good work mate.
