Qoheleth chapter 1 . 3/1/2019 Dear bryn: Okay, not to spoil the fun here, but I have to ask: "[P]revious assumptions of asexual reproduction"? Had these clowns not even figured out yet that Elves were mammals? Sincerely, Qoheleth |
Andy the willow tree chapter 4 . 6/20/2017 Well that was a fun read. I liked the bit about the Mary-Sues... |
Shipwright's Trick chapter 4 . 4/2/2010 Thank you for a terrific story. I laughed- and then I almost cried. By the way: I SIGN THE PETITION. Curse the Mary Sues! |
Shipwright's Trick chapter 1 . 4/2/2010 Weird, but very funny. The zippers and band-aids, especially, were fascinating and hilarious. I wonder what the elves thought of the humans? |
SoConfusified chapter 4 . 5/8/2008 most 'informative', and highly enjoyable. |
Winged Tree chapter 4 . 3/17/2006 ALAS! Poor Thranduil! No! I guess Legolas isn't here because he got dissected in the earlier story.; OMG, this was hilarious. I especially loved your scientific names, they're really a stroke of utter genius. The interactions between the dwarves and the elves were hilarious too. Interspecific competition indeed. I'm glad that conclusion was reached. *snicker* One question though: if the elves are capable of making bows and arrows, why aren't the researchers remarking on that as a sign of intelligence? Oh man, Gobelin The victory strut! The hair braiding! Wonderful wonderful work._ Oh...and sorry to be a downer, but it's Eldar, isn't it, and not Elder? A minor problem! The story is too funny for words. Thanks for writing, I'm glad I finally came back to read stuff again. |
Morfiwen chapter 1 . 11/24/2005 Good god, BUAHAHAHAHA... just imagine what the Chimps thought of Jane Goodall... hahahah... |
balrogthane chapter 4 . 5/17/2004 Oh wow, this is too great! I grinned so hard through it my face hurt (being in the computer lab I had to refrain from laughing out loud). Most excellent! -(- - - |
the surly mermaid chapter 4 . 4/13/2004 That was excellent, thank you. |
Nyghtvision chapter 1 . 3/31/2004 Dear Bryn: I just want to say that this bit of research was very useful in my studies. I am extremely sorry to hear of the demise of most of your scientists. Thanks for writing this. Lv, C. Nyghtvision |
itarilde-elenastar chapter 4 . 3/7/2004 Fabulous job! I loved it! :) I won't waste your time blabbering on and on about it, so lets just say it's brilliant! Thank you!...:) |
Starbrat chapter 4 . 11/3/2003 Oh gods, that was hilarious! Good work! |
Laureloth chapter 4 . 10/11/2003 I would heartly like to join the fight against poaching of the T. galadh and thus have agreed to sign this petition. I commend the Scientific Research Department of Middle-earth for its thorough and comprehensive study of the T. galadh. Up to this point, I was sadly not able to find such a definitive guide on this most remarkable species and found it a most enjoyable [and informative] read. However, I'm left wondering if perhaps the SRDM is preparing another study of the species commonly called "Hobbits"? I would very much appreciate a detailed guide on that species as an unbiased one is not to be found anywhere. :-) |
PrincessEilonwy chapter 4 . 10/11/2003 No, don't trouble the MEPI about the book bag-considering the shocking incidences of poaching that are occurring even now, I am proud to show my support of the High Elves in a way that does not remove them from their natural environment. I was gratified to finally receive explanation for the curious T. galadh habit of grooming and braiding and only wish that I could witness such rituals in person. Without, of course, purchasing "Legolas" on the black market. . .I would be honored to sign the petition to stop poaching-consider my name added. On behalf of the scientific fandom, I wish to thank you for your highly informative and fascinating "Notes" and hope that the SRDM will continue with its work. Best of luck with the Mary Sues. |
Luinramwen chapter 4 . 10/8/2003 How horrid! Elf-poaching? How dare they! I'm against it, firmly against it, and I shall do whatever it takes to stop the evil, treacherous Mary-Sue impersonators from their evil work. I will even consider poaching the poachers. Perhaps you should consider joining forces with institutions such as SAG or the association in Defenders of Middle-Earth (not sure what it's called). Though not strictly dedicated to stopping the practise of Elf-poaching, I would think that the heads of either associations would have no qualms in aiding you in your pursuit. Happy Elf-poacher hunting, and thank you for the Notes again. |
