I enjoyed this story quite a bit despite not being an rwby fan myself. Its especially sad therefore that it seems to be abandoned. That being said, thanks for sharing!

He wasn’t careless, rather he got author fiat. No impenetrable charm, no redirecting charm for the bullets, no disillusionment, none of the magic he could do to prevent it. And of course Weiss used all the ditany, and of course the wounds reopened. Massive author fiat

I know this is on hiatus.

But good Lord above I am begging you to - at your own pace - get back to this someday.

I think this has grown into some really solid characterization all around and I am very much enjoying this.

I'm a bit disappointed in the second half of this so far. That being said, you still have a story well worth finishing. If you wanted to do a partial rewrite, well, here are my recommendations.

First avoid unlocking Harry's aura. He doesn't really need it, and it doesn't help your story. Winter can try it, and have it fail. Then in desperation, she can extend her own aura over him to help his magic heal him while Weiss flies them away. (You probably want to make Harry's injury seems a little more plausible as well and at least get rid of him summoning the bullet.) Second, the human grimm hybrids are probably not helping your story. They can run into a magically controlled Pyrrha during their escape, that Harry can manage to free. Some plausible explanation can be created why she survived. Similarly you avoid Jaune's angst bits. Third, the group of criminals at the end seems to divert your main arc. I'm not sure it helps. Forth, just to keep things barely tied to the wizarding world, you might have Harry have a goblin letter box. It doesn't work for anything living, but does allow him to send letters and receive letters and small things. Basically the idea is not to give him a way back, but at least to just allow him to replace small stuff, and possibly have Hermione help research what is going on in Remnant. Beyond that, stay focused, with essentially everything advancing your story, in one way or another. The story has potential. For best results it just needs a bit of work.

Because of course, Jaune would be a fucking idiot and not listen to those around him. He's an idiot in the show and an idiot here. No amount of anything can EVER make me like Jaune.

I freaking love this, and am sad that it hasn't been updated.

So basically you've neutered Harry's Magic in order to force him to become a Huntsman. Rather than, you know, use actual Harry Potter magic in RWBY. Instead his magic is delegated to parlor tricks like expanded spaces & quality of life castings. At this rate I'm sure you'll pull some bullshit like Aura protecting them straight up from direct casting.

What was the point of even doing the crossover if nothing he brings works without attracting Grimm or effecting those that matter?

I just started reading this but I have a question a few chapters ago when raven was disarmed of the staff how could she transform and get to it before Harry could point and say accio it just doesn’t make sense to me

not a bad story, but there is one - Winter already has a boyfriend only from Drugova Crossover (rwby x Metro 2033) Snow and Fire and My Fair Lady - but if that this Crossover just class your - but still waiting for the continuation of your story .
