This was the best chapter so far. Switching between the present and the game was very nice and I hope we get to see more therapy sessions and maybe see Ranma talk to some more of the Nerima cast.

Wow, I'm amazed Ranma opened up like that at the group session. I can't wait to see what happens when Ranma and Sayuri meet Kirito.

I'm curious as to the amount of yen you list here for the Fund and if such a paltry sum was intentional. Twenty million yen is only $200,000 USD, assuming a 100 yen $1 USD exchange rate. Divide that by 6,000 and you end up with a truly pathetic 3333 yen ($33.33 USD). No Japanese person would even remotely consider that more than relative pocket change.

I'm asking because I'd have expected Nabiki to be extremely sarcastic, likely taking a potshot at the government's miserly fund. Ranma would also have been profoundly underwhelmed.

This is great. I haven't actually read SAO canon, so I don't know if this is "inherited", but I'm loving the detective vibe and the slow unwinding of reveals.

My guess: "Sayuri" is the AI mini-me that's trying to avert its demise. Also, the butler did it.

Hope you get better, or at least not get worse... If looking for stories to update, would not mind more of Not a Clue, A Time Apart, Causality, Jusenkyo Muyo, or Hell is a Martial Artist
