I actually like this chapter, it gives us more in depth into the characters personality. Skullgirls is is a fighting game so they mostly focus on the combat while giving us an idea on the personality of each fighters but never expand on it. Seeing little moments like this gives us a better view on a character. So I would be ok if the next few chapters are like this, a brief break from the action n drama and instead watch the character grow

I’ve gotta say, you’ve come a long way in your writing. Taking a look back at your writing and grammar in your first chapter, then taking a look at your latest chapter, you can see major improvement. If you have the time, I would recommend going back to your earlier chapters and fixing up the grammar. I can tell that reading the first chapters are quite and jarring for first time readers and will not do a good job at hooking them in and convincing them to continue reading the story

That was an really great fight with those two and glad Carol was able to help Yang break the control. I bet if Carol cut a piece of Yang's hair she would of been back to normal but also get damage more.

I thought they was going to get into more trouble having the Black Egrets come in on them like that but it seems that must be Parasoul way of asking questions. If what she does is true they need hurry to save Yang from being another Painwheel.

At first, I was worried about the author, when checked with the publication dates of the last few chapters - it was too likely that the author of my review simply ignores and will not continue their work. But, fortunately, it turned out the opposite - the next part came out just a month later.
But what this part turned out! In its own unique meeting Valentine and Carol came out very memorable: the characters are transferred to the Canon level, revealing their difficult relationship. But, at the same time, Valentine notices that the time spent in the Beacon has changed Carol for the better: though she is not familiar with Yang, but selflessly rushes to find her, while realizing that it will be necessary in the process to face their nightmares.
Also pleased with the appearance of Double in the story that pushes us to the judgment that Marie is acting Skullgirl (and therefore, the role in future events she is not the last). In addition, the author took seriously and for a long time the idea to develop Emerald as one of the protagonists of fan fiction. I do not know what it will result in, but I'm still interested in watching it!
By the way, an idea for the future: how about adding to the plot such characters as Dr. Merlot (from "RWBY: Grimm Eclipse"), or Mike and Marty (those two talking Grimm from "RWBY Chibi").
