Nooooo! Thank goodness there's a chapter 5. I love the way you describe them avoiding each other but not avoiding each other. I've been meaning to say this before, but I'm in love with how you take such simple things and make them so beautiful. I feel like that about so many scenes in this story, it's really magical. :) Other fun things: Wes being a total lush was great. I had a big ole smile at "your mother was my muse, too." And I'm excited for the conclusion :)

AAAAAA. Drunk confessions kill me. You're so good at keeping things sweet and building the tension at the same time, how?! I love. Also, Maka constantly making sex references around Soul and him getting flustered is hilarious. I love it so much. They are so perfect, and you write them so perfectly. Amazing.

I love this chapter! I burst out laughing at "Yikes. Someone nerdier than you?"! Toooo good. You capture their relationship so well, the highs and the lows :) The scene where she helped him through the anxiety attack was so tough to read but so perfectly them, I loved it. There were so many beautiful lines in this chapter that got me: "He's stolen her color" was especially great, and you are so great at describing seasons that I find myself looking forward to the changes in the calendar just to read the way you describe them! :)

I've been waiting to open this story up. I was saving it for a day that I could really curl up and have a mug of hot cocoa and just let your writing kind of wash over me. I'm so glad that I did. It's been so long since I've read your stuff, and so much of it is what I remember: lovely imagery, the sweetest dialogue, and the way that your prose makes me feel like I'm floating! It's amazing. I LOVE that their friendship started with a kiss and I'm excited for what's to come :)

Wow, you have such a way of doing so much without a lot of explicit exposition. The scene with Soul and his father was so poignant, even with it effectively being the first time his dad is introduced. I love that Soul calls his mom 'Ma' and I'm always a sucker for Evans family parts. I'm definitely ready for a makeup scene though; Maka's need to push and Soul putting up guards kills me.

This has been such a lovely and relaxing read so far. The quick pacing and slice of life feel is just really sweet and allows for a lot of relationship development in a short period of time which I admire. Also every piece of dialogue has been gold and I love how much of this is centered just on conversation and banter.
