I like it! I was looking for a fic about this two and, I must say, I'm quite pleased with what I found. Although, I think Subaru could've said something else, it almost seemed like Subaru was just a mere excuse for Satsuki to talk.

While the dialogue is very well done and in-character (it misses a few points, but that is nettling..), the lack of imagery is a weakness. Even though one can safely /assume/ those two were in the DOE HQ, there were a few things that needed to be said that weren't.

One, is it before or after the Final Day?

Why are those two very introverted people even striking up a conversation at all? (SET UP, here~!)

Thirdly, Subaru still has emotions :F People would like to say that now that he is the Sakurazukamori, he doesn't, but the Tree does not control ones emotional state. It only feeds on power; spiritual power and the blood of humans. Seishirou was emotionless due to his upbringing, and most likely a psyhopathic set of genes from his mother Setsuka. (Psychopaths do not feel in ordinary ways. Have no "real" emotions, so they say.)

agg.. This feels like jumping into the middle of a very good fic :F Get a GOOD beta reader (meaning, someone who will give you critizism as well as praise!) for your writing before you post. This is a very original idea, and I like the fact that BEAST was trying to help the babies

I really enjoyed this story Subaru and Satsuki are my favorite X characters and sense this story is about both of them it makes it even better! are you going to turn this into a small series or something that would be really great! They can discuss all the things happening and stuff they think might happen I'd like to see what you would write on that sense you did a wonderful job writing this! I've never once really found an X/1999 story that's held my interest but yours was really great.
