I cried. I actually cried.

I never ever EVER shipped Jasiper. I find it rude and heartless toward poor Reyna. Even though in the books it says that Reyna and That Jerk Girl made up, I still don't think otherwise. I've noticed that when I seriously make up my mind about feelings I will never change my decision. But overall, I think that this one-shot portrays Reyna the way I think she felt. Even though it made me cry tears of joy b/c someone thinks the way I do about, ugh, Jasiper, I still found it enjoyable. although I still wish that Reyna, or as I call her, Kickass Queen, would have at least made That Jerk Girl feel extremely bad and tell That Dense, Heartbreaking Boy to give her some space and go back to Kickass Queen, or better yet just dump him to make him understand how Kickass Queen felt.

I just made the biggest mistake in my life. And it was reading this fic with High Hopes on... I'm not going to be able to listen to this song again without breaking into tears.

No words can quite describe my pure liking for this story, really.
I have, like many other people, came along and shipped whatever Rick Riordan had already thrust into my brain, and therefore Jiper had already found a place to snuggle in there. However, unlike a lot of sane people, I like tragedies more than anything else. Jeyna is quite the tragedy, which, I agree, Rick didn't spend enough time making it bloom. You, my lady, have made this tragedy a tragedy.
As much as I liked this, however, I wouldn't suggest a sequel. I do think this is quite the perfect ending and has left just enough for my grief and imagination. I also read a couple reviews and thought Jason's POV just wouldn't be that a good read as the original, and may let down some people. Of course, no offense. I do not doubt your writing skills by one bit. This piece has proven them quite clearly.

Woah I really liked this. I was pretty unsatisfied with the original novel as well but this was pretty good.

Sigh the feels. I love reading stories like this because I feel like Reyna is one of the most interesting characters in HOO and Rick Riordan did not do her justice as a character. How can you just put Piper with Jason without mentioning Reyna? Gosh there was so much space for character developement there that he missed. And poor Reyna just gets put off to the side, Praetor in name but completely sidelined. The book made her feel a little too flimsy to be a Roman leader, and stories like this always manage to bring out how I imagine her as a character. Thanks for the good read. Cheers

I loved this! Reyna's heartache is perfectly portrayed. I feel like lots of people get Reyna wrong, but you did it perfectly. Definitely write a sequel. I would love to hear Jason's side of the story.

Very nice work! It's been a while since I read any good Jeyna feels. I don't know how you can possibly make me feel more with a sequel but I am looking forward to it if you decide to write it.

I could feel the pain. wonderfully written!

I literally felt my heart just break. I'd never thought of it like this before. Before this scene always belonged to Percy and Annabeth, as they finally reunite. After reading this, I'm finding myself thinking about all of the other demigods. Like how Hazel felt when she saw Leo, who looked so much like her beloved Sammy.
