I think the word you were meaning to use 'conscience', not 'conscious'.

Very nicely written, however it should actually be "She cannot bring herself to brush off a guilty 'conscience'" rather than 'conscious', though I can sort of relate with how easy it is to get the two words mixed up.

This was amazing, so well written and a real understanding of the character personalities. I felt Diana would have felt pretty awful after the events of episode 2. I loved this!

Some nice secret relationship fluff stuff is just so fitting for these two. It's something that feels like if it were to happen in the show I would work. Whit Diana's responsibilities of being a Cavendish I'm sure it would make her a bit emotionally confused. (Obligations vs Happiness)
It would even work with angst in the long run, but for now be nice to Diana. :p
