I wonder how his first impression will be toward his idol. Not everyone can keep their cool when they're in the presence of someone they greatly respect. Though knowing Nicolas, he might wing it. For some reason, I have a feeling that Camilla will go after his head if he hangs around Elise without getting any info that he's Xander's new retainer. Same would go for the king in question, if he sees his new retainer and his youngest sister interacting a bit too well. Unless if he's that understanding that is.

AMAZING PROLOGUE.

I love that the first chunk of the prologue is kinda like talking to us, and it really sets a mature, insightful precedence before the whole story and adventure begins. It's very enthralling and absorbing and gets me thinking!

I love the novelization and narration of the events of Fire Emblem in the prologue as well-I don't think I've read any better prologue. It eloquently and effectively sets everything up (having good shock factor, suspense, etc...you got me several times!), I'm completely hooked!
