And it's okay to be open with your feelings about Bismuth, Garnet. She was one of your oldest friends, one of the few to make it out of the war with her sanity intact. It must have been heartbreaking to learn the truth of why she disappeared for thousands of years.

Seriously though, I wouldn't be surprised if Steven is bearing some guilt he hasn't revealed yet.

I understand their concern, but it's really not a good idea to separate Connie and the Gems, especially not Steven. They've just been through a potentially traumatic incident, and they need each other for emotional support. You can't exactly expect Connie to explain to some child counselor how her best friend's mom's magical supercomputer room brainwashed her and nearly caused her to die of thirst, can you?

Besides, like Connie says, it is a little underhanded to talk about the Rock Moms behind their backs.

And really, the problem wasn't Peridot's programming. I'm sure every line of code was double and triple-checked. The only problem was that the room is basically a giant computer, and computers don't think like people. They think "make sure everybody is happy" means "reprogram or delete anyone who isn't".

You know, I like to think that Rose left an impression of herself behind in her room, like a footprint in the sand. If so, perhaps she helped make sure it didn't choose "delete".
