It's wonderful that this story continues after a long time.

The first part was interesting with the girls talking about the Legend of Scary Mary, which interests Katie. Too bad Katie gets taken by Scary Mary, but luckily Kyubi witnessed it. Good thing Kyubi got Ken and Nate to help him save Katie by going to the mirror world, which was really interesting, via Mirapo. Just as the heroes found Katie, they encounter Scary Mary who planned to use Katie's body to escape to the real world. Scary Mary's powers of using mirrors was cool, such as using them to reflect evil copies of Jibanyan and Lasagnyan for the cats to fight. Ken almost got angry when Katie was hurt by the ritual, but he remembered Chillax's lesson and summoned Inky to stop Scary Mary. With Katie infected with dark energy, Ken had no choice but to use Watch S to absorb the dark energy. With Scary Mary about to attack them, Ken made a clever choice to have Inky use the mirror to stop her. Once Scary Mary saw her reflection, it was surprising that she turned to dust, leaving her medal behind and Ken took it. Once Katie woke up in the nurse's office and was told Ken and Nate brought her there, she really wanted to thank Ken. Looks like Fang's plan to use Scary Mary to get Ken to absorb dark energy worked, but Nekomusume didn't look thrilled about it. Fang's human form was pretty cool.

The second part was really moving. It started well with the girls talking about Valentine's Day and Ken's guy friends telling him about it, which didn't interest him. Ken really surprised the guys when he somehow luckily helped Katie more often than them, which got him more points. It was funny that Yuray joined Whisper and Komasan as commentators and so was the Dragon Ball joke. Good thing Ken realized a yokai was behind it all, and found the culprit Infatuwawa. It made sense that Andrey was the one who asked Infatuwawa to help bring Ken and Katie closer. Though Infatuwawa mainly did it because of her past. I'm glad Ken forgave the dog yokai and got her medal. After the guys got the basket of chocolates, it was surprising that Katie went to Ken later in the day. With Nate and his yokai overhearing it, Katie giving Ken a chocolate heart and confessing her feelings to him was adorable. Too bad Ken didn't quite feel the same way, but he let her down gently. I'm glad Katie was okay with it and she was glad to be Ken's friend. Nate was especially happy that he still had a chance with her.

Nice job with Yuray and Kamilla giving advice about proper hygiene. You did a brilliant job with this chapter. Keep up the awesome work!

We begin the year up and running with another Yo-Kai Watch chapter. In this Ken and the gang are participating at a video game festival. In a fightning game Bear wons effortlessly all of his fights but met his adversary with Ken and for Katie's love, Nate asks a revenge against Ken but Ken effortlessly defeated Nate which makes Katie impressed but makes Nate jealous and sad (when Katie told Nate he's average even in video games while she praises Ken's skills in video games), about video games, since between us, i'm an otaku, i'm in paradise.. But there is trouble in paradise when a Yo-Kai named Malware (like a computer virus) or a creature from a Yu-gi-Oh VRAINS Anime. I hope you will keep going with your Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS fanfic with what Yuray said. Ken uses the good strategy using Brokalin against Malware, but he almost gets killed when wanting to put an end to Malware, he uses the Yo-Kai Watch model S and almost succomb to anger. And for the first time, Ken suffers from a bad luck stroke, first, he let a Yo-Kai escaping and while preparing for school and in school he gets mostly unfortunate events (if he gets a worst grade than Nate's average grades, we could have the ultimate combo). Because, I also want a chapter in school just to see if Ken is more Lucky than Nate's during exams and gets better grades than Nate compared to the latter average or bad grades. Yuray and Lasagnyan wanting to make Ken smile again uses the help of a Yo-Kai named : Chillax (AKA in French: Relaxanne : pun on "Relax" and the french name : Roxanne) who helps Ken controls his anger and bad mood with Yoga and for the final test : a destructive Yo-Kai named : Mad Mountain (AKA in French : Mont Furi : pun with the famous Mount Fuji in Japan), thanks to Chillax yoga lessons and with the help of Purangel (AKA in French : Angelette : due to the fact in the Tales of Symphonia games, Colette is an angel). Ken manages to calm Mad Mountain anger and has Two Yo-Kai Medals. Purangel also proposes to Ken to help him clean his house before his mother returns. During the recap : Ken, Yuray and Lasagnyan spends a relaxing time in the Inn and Bath-House of Ken's maternal grandmother and Ken tells to Yuray and Lasagnyan that he's glad to have the two female Yo-Kai by his side, which makes the two female Yo-Kai happy to be Ken's partners. In the next episode, we are going to have a new Yo-Kai shorts with (I hope so) Yuray as the main character and also a new plan of Fang, just to make sure that Ken re-uses the Yo-Kai Watch model S again ! But will it involve Katie once again, since the plan with her and Huntr didn't work, what would be Fang's new plans against Ken ? One thing is sure, we just have to wait and see ! Excellent chapter Newcomer1, hope you will soon give us more about Ken's marvelous adventures ! Kudos, Asperger Hero !

Events are unfolding at a brisk pace, as Malware (kudos to the creator, by the way) was the first setback for Ken and co. in this season despite seemingly not being part of the main antagonist group. Will he rear his head again? I hope so, as any wave of problems starts with a single drop.
Ken is progressing notably on how to avoid being overcome by the dark energy, and thanks to Chillax (kudos to her creator, by the way) he needs to stay calm because anger for its own sake is not as effective as focused anger, as many anime series proved.
However, Fang knows another way for the Yo-kai Watch S to manifest, so the villains have another ace on their sleeve!
I nearly forgot how interestingly you used Mad Mountain, a canon Yo-kai which was underused in the anime (though thankfully not in the games).

Ken and his friends going to video game convention was nice. Ken did well against Bear and Nate at the video game, which impressed Katie and made Nate jealous. Too bad the fun was interrupted when the video game machines came to life and attacked the people. It's interesting that Ken and Yuray were taken to the digital world of the convention building's network system by the Horror Yokai Malware. It's funny that Yuray confused Malware's appearance with an Ignis from the Yu-gi-oh VRAINS anime. Malware is definitely an evil Horror yokai with his plan to turn the people into his slaves and conquer the world, which angered Ken and made Watch S appear. Ken made the right choice summoning Brokalin, but his power got so crazy that it almost destroyed the digital world. Good thing Nate came to rescue Ken and his yokai, but Malware got away. It's terrible that Ken feels bad about letting Malware escape and blaming himself.

Ken had a really bad day that made him grumpy, which Yuray and Lasagnyan noticed. Good thing Yuray called Chillax to help Ken feel better, which worked for him. That was a good test of Chillax's lesson for Ken when she called Mad Mountain to attack his house. Ken did well controlling his anger and summoning Purangel to stop Mad Mountain. It's great that Ken got the medals from Chillax and Mad Mountain. Looks like Fang plans to use other methods to get Ken to use Watch S.

It's awesome that this story is continuing after a long time. Thanks for the mention and that was a cool summoning song of Watch S for the Eerie yokai. I have to say it's nice change to see an evil Horror Yokai since Freddy Kruger, and it's a first that a yokai got away. I'm excited to see what Fang's plan is in Chapter 14 and what the new Yo-kai Watch short will be about. Keep up the awesome work.

She is rather kind and rational individual who cares for and is rather protective of children ,and just happens to like the gothic style... as long as you don’t push her buttons. Pushed far enough and she will fight her target with no form of remorse. Her triggerBullying. It doesn’t matter, from schoolyard bullies to horrible parents. If you hurt one of “her kids” you’re on the List.
Background/Appearance: Raimunde has the same body type of Hanako-san (Toiletta) wearing a silver pentagram hair clip in her black bob haircut. A royal blue tank top and a black leather jacket over it. A black knee length skirt with a white spiderweb pattern, white leggings and navy blue lace boots. Wielding a rapier with a royal blue hilt. (She also happens to levitate) When she was alive, she was best friends with a seemingly preppy cheerleader type of girl. At first glance it would seem like an odd combination... but these two were practically sisters. Until one day her best friend’s over controlling mother found her “perfect child” wearing a magenta skull T-shirt. Which resulted in Raimunde’s heart being broken by her best friend’s mother forcing her to break their friendship. She knew that it wasn’t her friend’s fault and her mom was just like all the other bullies in life. She hates them, bullies I mean. And that hatred combined with the heartbreak turned her into the Yokai Raimunde: Protecter of the Bullied.
Powers: She can inspirit bullying victims into fighting back. Usually starting with attempting to provide a peaceful solution, only resorting to violence as a last resort. She also inspirts people who want to stand up for a bully victim but is too afraid to do it. She also inspirits children into fighting back against their parents in a harsh, logical manner if the parents are being unfair... or whatever she perceives to be unfair.

(Note: her best friend is still alive and well with a daughter of her own. She’s a much better parent than her own mother. She also looks back with regret when it came to breaking off her friendship with Raimunde... she also named her daughter after her long gone friend. The name : Ramona)

Just to be sure, will tomorrow my one-shot idea about Halloween with KenxFumika Katie ? That will be nice of you if you do it. Either way, i hope for the next update, we will have chapter 13 of Rise of Horror, happy halloween for tomorrow !

Anyways, i watched another episode of the Yo-Kai 2019 series (especially the part where Fumika/Katie goes into a spoof of the acclaimed anime : Puella Magi Madoka Magica). After watching the episode, i was thinking : "How about you made a chapter based on this episode, but instead Fumika and Ken will go Yo-Kai witch hunting" ? and also Keita/Nate being posseded by the Yo-Kai witch which turn him into a demonic Yo-Kai monster where Fumika and Ken must fight to turn him back to normal. I want for the next update or the next chapter : that and my Yo-Kai idea : Polaluckoïd : (A yo-Kai camera whose pictures taken depends on his moods, Happy : Good picture, sad or angry : picture with a little problem for the photographed subject). That's all, hope you will make those suggestions for the next chapter or update this week.

Personnality : Polafateoïd is a Yo-Kai who (Like Snaptrap) likes to take pictures, but unlike the camera on Goosebumps, the Polaroid pictures taken depends on Polaluckoïd mood : (if he's happy, the subject photographed will have a positive occurance but if he's sad or angry, the subject will have a negative occurance which will result in a joke turned into an accident). After meeting Ken and befriending him, he promised he will try to take only positive photos. He also has a close friendship with one of Yo-kai's : Snaptrap, due to them liking taking pictures.
Background :
Before he became a Yo-Kai, Polafateoïd was created as the ultimate Polaroïd camera by a scientist who wanted to make create Polafateoïd as the greatest camera the world has ever known, but the scientist died and following his death, Polafateoïd was reincarnated as a Yo-Kai. So one advice : if you are photographed by Polafateoïd, make sure he's happy or else things will get a little bit messy. So that's it, hope you will take this Yo-Kai idea since you fanfiction is : "Rise of Horror". And maybe tomorrow making a fanfiction introducing this Yo-Kai. Finally, Minnie is back after being absent for 9 chapters. And Detective Yuray has finally the greatest mystery she has ever seen.

Wow! Who’d have thought that the first part of this chapter is a reference to survival horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s. As for the second part, Yuray’s past is really heart-wrenching, especially the way she died.

I was wondering. Will you be featuring Dremona again? I actually liked that Yokai. For a Yokai from the Shady Tribe, she's kinda cute, in a creepy way at least. I also kinda feel bad knowing that there might not be anyone ship tease between her and Ken.
