I love all of your writing! But this episode, and this scene with Mary watching from afar as Dean helps his brother, it was so freaking emotional and perfect!
This line in particular really got me: "his kid was the bravest fucking man on earth". It just conveys so much about their relationship!

That was really good! Firstly I thought that Sam is panicing because aware of whole thing with pact with Billie fully hit him. That he could lose Dean and that's why he started panic. You did really great job with idea that Sam suffered because the prison cell reminded him the Hell's cage. I thought about Sam's claustrophoby when he started say that he wouldn't held on in a car, I thought that is because car is small like the cell. Great job Dean with made better for Sam, it was sweet.

Totally justified staying up all night writing this, it was awesome and could totally be a missing scene. Just loved that you gave us what the show didn't. Neither Sam or Dean could live without the other and perfect you ended this story with Dean's thoughts as Sam slept, and the thoughts go for both of them too.

I loved it! I wish we could still get this same satisfaction from the show, but they seem determined to move in the opposite direction anymore. The boys would never have made that deal. The instant that Billie shared that one of them would have to die, they'd have both sent her on her way - at least in my dreams :) Love your writing. Love your stories. Thanks for sharing!

I like the idea that Sam would have a problem with small spaces. It makes sense after the cage. Pointing out that his size would overwhelm the cots in the prison cell was a good observation. His legs had to be hanging off the end. Plus, he's wider than Dean.

I love how you write how Dean feel about . he doesn't have false expectations with her. If she satay she stay and is she goes he will be fine meanwhile he have Sam, is real reason to keep fighting, to keep leaving, beside him.
