You took a concept that I never would have imagined, and made it into a metaphor for Obi-Wan's path in life and his internal struggle against the dark side. As always :D I especially liked the symbolism of the last scene, with Obi-Wan being on board of the Millienium Falcon, which goes towards Alderaan on hyperdrive wings, and that Obi-Wan knows that the end of his dive is coming. I also really loved the scene in which Obi-Wan faced Maul, and that he only had to fall... Because it would be just that, a fall, and no longer a dive, so I really liked what you did there. Obi-Wan with Satine was also heartbreaking, it was so short, but she doesn't say anything and he falls and hits the ground. So few words and yet you manage to convey so much. The hope in the last scene and Obi-Wan's acceptation of the end of his dive was both sad and, well, hopeful. We all know how it ends, after all :) Thank you for writing this, it was very enjoyable, and keep writing! ! |
