Reviews for Childhood
reppad98 chapter 1 . 4/27/2018
Heya! You had recommended this story to me some time ago, so here I am (finally) to read it :)
Oh, very dark. But cool. I really liked it. It's a realistic on how it would have been for ten year old children to have to save the world. It was so sad to see May realize that not even her father could stop the legendary Pokémon, and how she somehow ended up having to. Although you also showed that they had been involved since the very beginning, but they only realized that when they were looking back on it. It was also nice to see that moving to Hoenn - far away Hoenn - seemed so bad to May, but now, at the end, she has seen so much worse things. The ending with Wally, how they feel responsible for him and want him to stay a child, is sad - but also a little bit hopeful, just a tiny bit, because maybe he can help them. Maybe.
Thank you for writing this, I really liked it, and keep writing! !

I really enjoyed reading this. It was incredibly well written and I love your word flow. It's such a short story that says so much. This gave a really cool, dark perspective to ORAS which was really interesting to see. Great story!
