okay, how about a one-shot where Ben finds out that he and Mal are going to have a baby only instead of a normal pregnancy, Ben finds Mal holding a child sized egg. I got the idea from once upon a time season 4 episode 17(if you haven't seen the episode you should not only because it's a good show but also to understand the idea) it could start as a normal pregnancy but Mal could have at one point become a dragon and laid the egg.
