Good use of the e/existing timeline to start and build up the story. While relatively short it was very well written.

I would like to see one additional chapter - an epilogue. It should fill in one or two loose threads.

The main thread being if Airachnid was infected in the episode Thirst. If she wasn't infected, what was her fate? Does she fall for PredAlpha? Does she get offlined by Arcee? If she is indeed killed, does Arcee rest better knowing she avenged TailGate? Does PredAlpha take a sparkmate?

Secondly, with Megatron's remains not on Earth, I can only guess that the relic that contains the Spark of Primus is recovered and returned to the core without Optimus having to sacrifice himself in the process (so no death only to be restored in the follow-up Tf-RID series. Optimus just quietly retires for a few years or something before sending Bee to Earth on a hunch).

The epilogue doesn't need to promise a follow-up story, just fill in a few things enough to satisfy readers,and perhaps get a writer interested in doing their own.
