| fieriz chapter 12 . 9/8/2017 I'm forever grateful for you writing this story. I've been reading lots of AU from other animes, but yours is the one made me ponder on how much AU could affect one's own person. Take it for Naru, this AU shows a lot of what if. If Gene didn't die, Naru is still his stoic self, yet he could smile in front of Gene, and in turn, he could also smile in front of Yasu as well. If Gene died, could he still possibly smile in front of Yasu? I hardly think so, since Gene is the link between them. I mean, hello people, Naru isn't even called Naru in this AU, it's Oliver and it works out so great. I started to ship Yasune as well, since there's like a 90% guarantee there will be Mai x Naru on the side, and Naru who lives in the AU where Gene lives is a happier Naru. And happier Naru equals happier me, lol! Anyway, I love how Noll tried to describe in words, even if only in his head, what is his feeling for Mai. The plot itself is interesting, and much more so when you get to see how much interaction between them. I'm gonna reread this again and again. Thanks so much! |
