This is just mean. Your getting to the finale and then just leave it unfinished. We didn't get to see any sort of romances, no reunion with Annabeth (if that was possible), no victory celebrations, no big final battle and no happy or sad ending. This would have been in my top 10 fanfictions if it was finished but now I'm just very disappointed to learn it was abandoned for at least a year

I just read the whole thing and this is a really good story.
I don't know how the poll for the pairing ended, but personally I would prefer if he was either single or with Thalia. With any other female character, I feel their relationship would be kind of 'outta nowhere', even with Artemis. And if he ends up with Thalia, I would like to see them as just (best) friends for a bit longer before it progresses. Otherwise, it would feel kind of rushed. But that is just my opinion. Nevertheless, until now, their relationship has progressed really well and I honestly loved the scenes with them, especially the one at the end of this chapter. So, good job!
On another note, the fight scenes are also pretty well made, not too short and also not dragging on for too long. I also like how the 'new threat' was handled so far. I've read a lot of fanfiction with Erebus as the next villain and I feel the idea is a bit overused, but I really liked this story, which shows you still kept it original and well paced.
Anyway, I hope you update soon, bit if you need time, take as much as you want. No pressure

Personally, I feel like the story shouldn’t have a ship for Percy. Bringing Annabeth back would simply feel contrived, she was literally wiped from existence. Even if she’d simply died, bringing her back to life would have felt contrived, as what would the point of her death have been? And even then, the only way to bring her back to life and it not be contrived would for nearly the rest of the whole story to focus on Percy’s quest to revive her, which in this case would mean somehow getting a favor from Chaos since she was literally wiped from existence itself, and how could one possibly gain a favor from the creator of all of existence itself without the reasoning being absolute garbage?
Percy being with anyone else besides Annabeth within the timeline of this story (unless you’re going to chronicle several years of his recovery and gradual relationship with someone) would simply diminish the value of his relationship with Annabeth and how he felt about her. The only person I could see Percy getting together with in any reasonable amount of time would be Thalia herself, and that would simply be because of their mutual grief for Annabeth and taking solace in one another. Then you have the issue of how a relationship based off of mutual grief for one of their past loves would not be a great foundation for a relationship and how easily it could crumble. Yes, it’s possible, just not easy.

All in all, while my main vote for a pairing is simply no pairing at all, if I had to vote for one of them it would be Thalia.

It's been a while since I read this story and I forgot how good it is. I especially love the way characters I tract and the writing isn't stupid immediately telling you how one feels like love wise and lets you kinda see the story in your head rather than see it in letters.
