I've been watching (the new) Voltron since the beginning, I'm just slow getting into all the fanfiction that goes with the show. Anyway, I loved this story! I definitely wanted to see a continuation after this episode, so I'm happy you wrote this! Keith whumpage is my favorite and judging by how much you enjoy seeing Keith hurt too, I'm thinking he's your favorite character too? Awesome story!

I honestly had no idea what was going on, but I like to read things I don't know about. Who knows, I may fall in love with a fandom from a story. But this all made sense to me. I've read other reviews and I agree: if all of this happened in the TV show there's no way anyone would walk out of it perfectly fine. Even though I didn't understand much of it, character dynamics that are in cannon, etc, it was still amazing.

The Blade of Marmora was HEARTBREAKING, but one major plothole was how Keith could just flipping WALK OUT OF HIS LION LIKE NOTHING HAD HAPPENED AND BE PERFECTLY OKAY MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.

The mental part I'm planning on ficcing later. The physical you just covered perfectly.

This is what should have happened. Keith was beaten within an inch of his life. There wasn't time between then and the time they came back out to the castle for him to be healed to that extent.

The Blade of Marmora had to be one of the best episodes in the series so far, but it really seemed like Keith magically recovered from those injuries he HAD to have received during that fight. This was definitely a great take on what might have happened if they had actually gone into detail with the aftermath and, really, all I can say is definitely a well-written and satisfactory story here.

Interesting, good job

I loved this story so much because I really, REALLY wanted to see what the fall-out was from the trials. Keith took a pretty heavy beating but suddenly he was fine getting back to the castle? So disappointing. So this fic took that disappointment away because it totally hit all my H/C buttons. I loved seeing the team so protective and concerned over Keith because he's such a tough guy on the show that it's not generally something we get to see. You also totally kept everyone in character and there were some lovely moments of humour interspersed with the drama (like Keith, Hunk and Lance exchanging glances after getting Keith out of his clothes cause they then had to dress him again!) that softened some of the dark so well. Lovely writing.
